Introducing the topic
Teacher says students about grammar revision. Teacher gives instructions of all the parts of the work and order of the work to the students. Students mustn't use text-books for advice. Teacher can take grammar revision work from the text-book, or may choose his/her own variant.
Teacher gives students four short dialogues for listening and reading aloud (in pairs). Students read ex. 1, p. 45.
Students work individually. They look at the pictures (ex. 2, p. 46) and make dialogues using the previous exercise as an example. Then students write them into their exercise books.
The teacher gives students cards with the picture. Students go to the teacher's table one by one and the first student gives the card to the next etc. until all the students get the cards. Teacher read the short text "Find My Family". Students have to listen and mark the right picture.'Then students give their cards back to check. (In the centre of the card.)
Hi, friends! This is my family. There are three of us: my mother, my father and me. I'm 10 and my name's John. My mum is dressed in a jumper, a skirt and boots. My father wears a suit and dark shoes. As for me I like cycling and wear comfortable clothes. These are black jeans, black trainers and a hoodie. Where are we?
