Англ. язык 5 кл. Unit 9. Lesson 94. Grammar: Pronouns
Aims and objectives: to present and revise the use of personal and possessive pronouns; to practise the use of pronouns;- to practise the use of the verbs tenses; to develop students' writing skills; to develop students' listening and reading skills.

Warm up Pronouns
The teacher's greeting. Good morning, students! I'm glad to see you. How are you?
Phonetic exercise
The teacher can unite this part of the lesson and the checking on homework. Students listen to the questions, read them (one by one) and answer them.
Introducing the topic
To present the topic of the lesson, the teacher draws students' attention to the table of Grammar Lab (p. 200). Students revise their knowledge about pronouns. They have to identify personal and possessive pronouns.
To practise the use of pronouns, students do ex. 1, p. 200. The teacher divides students into pairs, and they complete the dialogue with the correct pronouns; then, they check it.
Answers: 1 they/They; 2 it/It; 3 he/him.
Students revise the use of the verbs tenses. They do ex. 2, p. 200 and complete the sentences with the correct form of the verb. Students have to check their works aloud.
Answers: 1 have not done; 2 has already finished; 3 read [red]; 4 Will ... see; 5 am dating; 6 wrote; 7 did not do; 8 Does ... do.
The teacher makes movements with the students. Teacher uses any rhyme for physical exercises. For example:
Andy Pandy, fine and dandy, Loves plum cake and sugar candy. Bought it from a candy shop And away did hop, hop, hop.
Students read ex. 3, p. 201 and write the negative sentences instead of affirmative ones.
Listening. Reading
Students listen to the text (ex. 4, p. 201) and read it. After reading they have to mark the statements with "T" or "F".
Work in class. Students (selectively) talk about happy or bad day at school. They may use the plan from ex. 5, p. 201.
Homework Pronouns
Ex. 6, p. 201.
Summary and feedback
The teacher summarizes the work by asking for students' feedback.
